5//52 (Endicott-Johnson Pagoda)
Endicott-Johnson Corporation was the major employer in Broome County (NY, USA) in the early 20th century. Their shoe factories were located throughout Binghamton, Endicott, and Johnson City. E-J employees used scrap materials to build this pagoda, which housed the water pump for one of the larger factory sites in Johnson City. A couple years ago, the pagoda was moved down the street to C. Fred Johnson Park. The factory buildings have been demolished and the brownfield site has been developed into a regional Gannett newspaper publishing facility and a Wal-Mart.

love thins funky pagoda -- and the polaroid treatment adds to the vintage allure.
It is a cool little building. I actually used an authentic Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera to make this exposure. I get film for it at PolaPremium.com.
