I bought an SLR and various accoutrements from my brother years ago (one of these days I’ll have the camera repaired to working order!) Over the weekend, I remembered that there was a Cokin filter system in the camera bag. I was thrilled to discover a 58mm ring adaptor, which fits my current lenses perfectly.
Today’s exposure was made while using a Cokin A 001 Yellow filter. I like the retro feel.

Owego Photo Walk
The Photo-op went on a photo walk of Owego, NY tonight. My camera has been really acting up as of late, but I was fortunate to be able to make a couple decent exposures. Using the monochrome mode seemed to help. The photo above features the row of businesses on Front Street that line the bank of the Susquehanna River. If you look closely, you can see where a new river walk is being constructed. The photo below was taken in monochrome, then as I tinkered around in Picasa I somehow managed to make the red in the flag appear. (Just don’t ask me how…)
