Received my order from B&H Photo this afternoon. By the time I got home and unpacked the box, the sun had just about set. Fortunately there was still enough light to try out my new circular polarizer filter. Not the greatest composition by any sense of the term, but I liked how the filter really made the clouds pop.

I bought an SLR and various accoutrements from my brother years ago (one of these days I’ll have the camera repaired to working order!) Over the weekend, I remembered that there was a Cokin filter system in the camera bag. I was thrilled to discover a 58mm ring adaptor, which fits my current lenses perfectly.
Today’s exposure was made while using a Cokin A 001 Yellow filter. I like the retro feel.
