After several weeks of being behind on posting photos, I'm FINALLY caught up! The problem with that is that I've bumped back the posts that Matt put on over the last couple of days. They start here--please check them out!
365::142 - laziness
Natalie will often randomly lie down in the middle of the floor. Crazy cat.

365::141 - night
Friday night a couple of our friends had a get-together at their house, with a little fire in the back yard. It was nice to hang out and talk and just relax with everyone.

365::139 - grace
Have I mentioned that I love dandelions? To me, the magic of dandelion fluff is one of the best examples of the grace and beauty of nature.

365::138 - art
During the course of our move, things that have stayed in one spot for an entire year are now being jostled around and re-noticed. One of those things is a painting by a former co-worker--a lovely painting of a couple of my favorite kids' books. This is just a small detail....if you want to see the whole painting, you'll have to stop by our new house. ;)

365::137 - yeah I ate it
If the devil wanted to buy my soul, I might sell it to him for some really good ice cream.

I am very grateful to have such an amazing mom, and I'm glad that I got to hang out with her on Mother's Day!

365::128 - essential revolution
I asked Eric to make me a phrase for my daily photo. (Funny that we're already in May, and I hadn't asked him yet.) He made this phrase, so I decided to pair it with something that represents an issue very important to him....well, to both of us, actually.

200.365 (Origins of an Obsession)
(Wednesday, 19 May 2010) 200 days ago I began my Project365 by taking a photo of an old Kodak camera. To celebrate reaching 200 days, I decided to take a photo of another camera, my first Polaroid (an ImpulseAF). I can’t say for certain, but I think this Project365 led me to take up Polaroid photography. It’s an obsession I’ve come to really love.

(Saturday, 15 May 2010) I followed this BNSF train for quite some time today. At one point I waited almost 10 minutes for it to cross a picturesque trestle only to discover there was no film left in the camera! Luckily there were a few more bridges for it to cross—including this one in Sanitaria Springs, New York.

(Friday, 7 May 2010) I went for a Pola-venture tonight to get some shots for the last day of Polaroid Week. The Oscar-Meyer Wienermobile was parked in the Town Square Mall parking lot. Couldn’t resist taking a photo of it with my Polaroid Square Shooter 2. Too bad I didn’t get there twenty minutes earlier so there was more light to work with…

(Sunday, 2 May 2010) The New York Times Lens Blog invited people to take a photo at 15:00 UTC (11:00am EDT) today depicting life at that moment. “The idea is to create an international mosaic, an astonishingly varied gallery of images that are cemented together by the common element of time.” I was at church that moment in time…
