Went to a curling party tonight. This is Ethan. He got some sweeping practice in while watching the match. He’ll make an awesome skip someday.

(Saturday, January 2, 2010) I ended up getting snowed in Friday night, but managed to follow a snowplow out on Saturday morning so I could have breakfast with some friends. While we lounged around, Seth dazzled us with his artistic abilities.

At the rehearsal for our friends' wedding, the flower girl Mikaela lost her first tooth! She was pretty darn excited.

Anne and I hung out for a while at the bonfire. I tried to get a good photo of her with her light stick, but it's hard to get a two-year-old to sit still while you adjust shutter speeds, so this one ended up looking kind of spooky.

While we were at Sundaes at the Farm at Eric's relatives' farm, his aunt suggested that I take a picture of his cousin Faith. She and her friend were playing on the swingset in their yard, and I just sat on the walkway and snapped away while they fooled around. This one is my favorite--I love how Faith is looking back at me over her shoulder...she's completely innocent and completely like a supermodel at the same time.

When we went to camp for open house on Sunday, they had a lot of fruit in the lodge for people to munch on. While we were lounging around, Brookye came up to me and said, "AJ is about to eat a lemon. You will want to take pictures." She was right. This little man bit into this lemon slice, and his face puckered immediately! He seemed to like it, though--he kept going back for more and laughing about it.
