I’ve been looking through the photography books I bought the other night. I really like those by Tom Ang. In one, he introduces different lighting techniques by giving examples. The photo he had of leaves being lit by a beam of sunlight piqued my curiosity, so I attempted the technique by placing a houseplant near a window and playing around with the blinds. It was a bit more challenging than I expected.
