(Tuesday, December 29, 2009) My new lens (Canon 50mm f/1.8 II EF) arrived today. Tried using it outside, but the windy conditions and bitter temperature sent me back inside. Set up my tripod and opened the aperture all the way (f/22) to try to capture the wind.
(Sunday, 13 December 2009) It was a dreary day—rain turned to sleet turned to snow. As I was processing some photos I was inspired by the droplets of precipitation forming on the window. I consider this an ode to Sarah, who loves water droplets.
I attended a meeting this morning at New Milford UMC. This stained glass window is at the front of the sanctuary.
