Eric and I directed a camp for adults with special needs, and it was specifically geared toward people with physical disabilities. Many of the campers also have developmental disabilities, and several are in the care of group homes.

The picture that I would use for this day is a photo of one of the campers, Teresa, singing in the talent show. However, since I don't have permission from her guardians, I don't feel comfortable putting the photo online.

One of the campers at the camp that Eric and I directed really enjoys making bookmarks out of old greeting cards and yarn. Here's one that she made for me.

This was a boring shot to test the lighting for something else, but using one of the Photoshop Elements Actions that I downloaded, I was able to make it look a little like a vintage postcard.

As far as camp goes, we had pretty swanky accommodations, but Eric still had his old sleeping bag with him...and along with it came some stray pieces of hay from the fair.

At camp, after the campers all went to bed, the staff gathered in the hallway for some snacks and general silliness.

Little boys have to investigate and explore everything. As you can imagine, experimenting with jumping this giant stump followed soon after the testing of the climbing up possibilities that the stump offered.

Dinosaurs enjoy flowers, too.
